ARMIE HAMMER NOMINATION RESCINDED, REPLACED BY KIERAN CULKIN

We at the Wii Sports Gang Film & Television Academy pride ourselves in our integrity and expect the Timmy Awards themselves to uphold those same values. Armie Hammer was nominated for Nick's Best Suppporting Actor in a Motion Picture Comedy or Musical for Sorry to Bother You at the 2024 Timmy Awards. This decision was made with much scrutiny due to the controversy surrounding the actor. However, we were unaware of other, more serious allegations against Hammer that were not part of our consideration of his nomination. Knowing now of these accusations and their severity, we have unanimously agreed to rescind his nomination.

As a result of this, Kieran Culkin has been retroactively nominated in his place for his performance in A Real Pain. Not only is Culkin's nomination a way to rectify the wrong of the previous nominee, but it also rectifies the wrong of overlooking his performance for this category in the first place.
